Le Concours international d’orgue du Canada (CIOC) est un organisme voué à la promotion de la musique d’orgue notamment en éduquant le public pour l’amener à mieux comprendre et apprécier cette musique.
Le CIOC présente un festival à Montréal tous les ans au mois d’octobre que vient couronner le concours international triennal d’orgue, où un jury prestigieux représentant plusieurs pays attribue des prix importants parmi une sélection des meilleurs jeunes organistes au monde.
Désireux de participer activement à la vie culturelle, le CIOC élabore une programmation annuelle en partenariat avec des organismes du milieu de l’orgue; ces activités musicales et éducatives mettent en valeur les orgues, trésors patrimoniaux, et s’adressent à un large public.

Our Mission
The Canadian International Organ Competition (CIOC) promotes organ music namely by increasing public awareness and interest for this music.
Every year in October, the CIOC presents a festival with some of the world’s finest organists. Every third year, the CIOC organizes an international competition in which a prestigious jury, representing various countries awards prizes to a selection of the best young organists in the world.
Seeking to actively participate in cultural life, the CIOC develops an annual programme of activities in collaboration with various organisations of the organ world; these musical and educational activities are designed to emphasize the cultural importance of pipe organs – treasures of our heritage – for a wide and diverse audience.
